In addition to numerous display diagonals, the modular system also offers various performance classes and expansion options. Due to solutions within standard designs, no additional development costs are incurred. In addition to the VESA Automation HMI Touch Panel with buttons, we also offer a variant without buttons and a recessed solution.

HMI Touch Panel technology compactly packaged

Two separate housing areas make the difference. The clear separation of technology and display results in numerous advantages for you. On the one hand, you can select the display diagonal and performance of the Touch Panel (from monitor to Panel PC) independently of each other. This gives you a particularly high degree of design freedom for machine operation.

You have the choice. If the standard interfaces or the standard memory are not sufficient for your application, they can be expanded individually. Another advantage is that the HMI Touch Panels are maintenance-free due to the absence of fans. The HMI panels are passively cooled. This makes them operational for the temperature range 0°C to 50°C.

Operating systems

Christ develops hardware-oriented embedded operating system images for Windows and Linux. We take into account requirements for boot times, functional scope and system protection. We define and implement the appropriate functional scope (drivers, write protection, installed programs), optimize for system stability and boot time and, if required, offer the "autorun" option with automatic application start, version management and use of Enhanced Write Filter. Field bus extension for industrial protocols

The new Touch Panel generation offers the possibility to extend a communication module. The integrable Deutschmann fieldbus node takes over the complete bus or Ethernet data traffic.

With the extension module the following field buses can be realized:

  • EtherNet/IP
  • Modbus TCP

Protection up to IP65

You need a higher protection class for your application? We also offer you an elegant solution for this. On the back of the HMI Touch Panel, the protection class can be easily increased with the help of an extension. The necessary cables can be pulled through the integrated opening. The interfaces are thus completely protected from environmental influences and the Touch Panel meets the IP65 protection class.

Touch operation with the latest technology

By using the latest touch controllers, we can adjust the touch sensitivity even more precisely. This makes machine operation even safer and prevents incorrect touches. For demanding environmental conditions with regard to hygiene or dirt, we can calibrate the touch accordingly. Glove operation can also be optimally adjusted to your requirements through our calibration.

Another aspect that speaks for the new touch controller is its high EMC stability.

Different applications also require different display sizes. For even greater choice, we offer an additional display diagonal. With the new diagonal, we offer you Full HD throughout from 13.3 to 24 inches.

Relaxed mounting

Our new Touch Panel generation can be mounted very relaxed with only one person. With the help of our new mounting system you can mount the Touch Panel even in confined spaces. The interfaces are easily accessible.

The HMI Touch Panel can be mounted via VESA75, VESA100, 48 tube or Icotek gland.

The new HMI Touch Panel generation combines looks with functionality. It was important to us to develop a housing that is easy to clean. The beveled surfaces prevent dirt and liquids from settling.

The enclosure concept runs through all our new enclosure variants, such as Industrial Front Panel or Industrial VESA.

Not only the functionality, but also the look make the difference. A consistent CI is becoming increasingly important. Adapt your Touch Panel to your design specifications. The separate back cover can be powder-coated in a color to match your machine design. So you too can start the next level of your machines and systems with us.

Touch Panels in machines and plants must work smoothly, because downtimes in production are extremely expensive. To guarantee that our Panels are ready for your use, all devices undergo an endurance test before delivery. Only if this is positive, they are shipped to our customers.

We offer an extensive portfolio of display diagonals for our VESA Automation Touch Panels. Here is an overview of the individual Touch Panel sizes: 13.3, 15, 15.6, 18.5, 21.5 and 24 inch.

We offer both Windows and Linux as operating systems. For Windows applications, we use the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC version with long-term support. For Linux variants we use Linux Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, also with long-term support.

We offer all Touch Panel solutions as monitor, distance monitor, for particularly large systems or Touch Panel PC. As Panel PC variants there are still different performance classes for different applications. Overview of the CPUs:
