Here, a mirror-free, clear display of the patient's breathing situation and the easiest possible operation via a touch panel are key aspects. The panels must function smoothly, even after disinfectant has been used for cleaning. 

Not only high-quality diagnostic monitors are among the indispensable medical devices, but also panel pcs, and touch panels are becoming increasingly important. On the one hand, they serve to operate the devices; on the other hand, they are display media for diagnostic results.

Application examples of touch panels

In most areas of application, there are already ready-made housings for the medical devices. The touch panels used must be able to be integrated accordingly in openings provided for this purpose, preferably without gaps or dirt edges. The Front Panel and Open Frame housing variants from Christ are particularly suitable for this. The Front Panels have a narrow aluminum frame, whereas the Open Frame Panels can be embedded completely flat in the opening.
