How to combine technical requirements and individual design demands into an optimal overall result
In an interview between CaderaDesign and Christ Electronic Systems, we show which aspects have to be considered for a successful cooperation.
The design requirements for touch panels installed in machines and systems are becoming increasingly stringent. However, developers and designers often pursue different priorities. For a smooth project flow, a good understanding of the interests of each party is particularly important. In this interview, we discuss what effects certain technical features of the touch panels have on the design and usability of the panels.

For smooth machine operation, the combination of high-performance technology, good operability and user-friendliness is particularly important. Only when these aspects are combined can machine operation be guaranteed to be as error-free as possible. This abstract gives you an overview of the points that are particularly relevant for touch panel development in collaboration with a design office. In addition to the technology and mechanics of the touch panel, another topic is which technical conditions must be met for an optimal UX design. A user experience adapted to the user significantly increases the usability of the HMI.
The interviewees were Mr. Florian Fuchs from design office CaderaDesign GmbH and Mr Thomas Guggenmos from Touch Panel developer and manufacturer Christ Electronic Systems GmbH.
