Operating systems

Christ develops hardware-oriented embedded operating system images for Windows and Linux. We take into account requirements for boot times, functional scope and system protection. We define and implement the appropriate functional scope (drivers, write protection, installed programs), optimize for system stability and boot time and, if required, offer the "autorun" option with automatic application start, version management and use of Enhanced Write Filter. Touch Panel with compact technology for industrial applications

Our Touch Panels have always offered you high flexibility in configuration. We have also adopted this feature for the new Touch Panel generation. Simply choose the performance variant you need.You can choose from monitor to powerful panel PC.

In our new generation, we separate the front and rear unit into two separate sections. In the event of damage, you can easily replace the front unit. Time-consuming data storage is thus a thing of the past.

The application possibilities are also extended in the temperature range. With small display diagonals, the occurring heat is dissipated via cooling fins. This means passive cooling through the entire range of the Touch Panels. Temperature ranges from 0 to 50°C are thus possible without any problems.

In addition, further interfaces like the power button or USB can be provided on the side of the back cover.

Protection up to IP65

You need a higher protection class for your application? We also offer you an elegant solution for this. On the back of the industrial Touch Panel, the protection class can be easily increased with the help of an extension. The extension has an opening through which the cables are pulled. The interfaces are then completely protected from environmental influences. This is how you achieve the IP65 protection class.

Touch operation at the highest level

The new touch controllers are particularly sensitive. We calibrate the touch sensitivity exactly to your individual requirements. This makes machine operation safer. Even the use in rough or hygienically demanding environments, e.g. with glove operation, is possible due to the optimal calibration.

In addition, the new touch controller is characterized by a particularly high EMC stability.

With the display diagonals, we are also breaking new ground. This means that in the future we will offer you Full HD resolution throughout from 13.3 to 24 inches. For this, we have introduced a new diagonal with 13.3 inches, which lies between our standard sizes with 12.1 and 15 inches.

Optimized assembly solution

The optimized mounting of the new Touch Panel generation, makes installation easy for you. The well thought-out mounting system allows you to mount the Panel in production with only one person. Even in tight spaces, access to the interfaces is conveniently accessible.

For particularly high flexibility in mounting the Panels, we offer various solutions. You can mount our support arm devices via VESA75 and VESA100, as well as via a 48 tube adapter or Icotek screw fittings.

New design for HMIs

The design language of our Touch Panels is visually a highlight and at the same time extremely functional. It was important to us to develop a housing whose design prevents dirt and liquids from settling.

Thanks to the new, modern design with beveled surfaces and edges, you get a Touch Panel that meets different requirements. The housing concept runs through all our new housing variants, such as Industrial Front Panel or Industrial Automation.

Not only the functionality, but also the look make the difference. A consistent CI is becoming increasingly important. Adapt your Touch Panel to your design specifications. The separate back cover can be powder-coated in a color to match your machine design. So you too can start the next level of your machines and systems with us.

What is the long-term availability of the Touch Panels?

By using industrial quality components we offer our customers a high long-term availability of the Touch Panels and their components. Should components be discontinued, we will find a suitable alternative together.

What does it mean for our customers that we see ourselves as a solution provider?

Which display diagonals are offered?

We offer an extensive portfolio of display diagonals for our VESA Touch Panels. Here is an overview of the individual Touch Panel sizes: 7, 10.1, 12.1, 13.3, 15, 15.6, 18.5, 21.5, 24 inch.

Which operating systems can be used?

We offer both Windows and Linux as operating systems. For Windows applications, we use the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC version with long-term support. For Linux variants we use Linux Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, also with long-term support.

Which configuration levels are available for the touch panels and which CPUs are offered?

We offer all Touch Panel solutions as monitor, distance monitor, for particularly large systems or Touch Panel PC. As Panel PC variants there are still different performance classes for different applications. Overview of the CPUs:

Are the surfaces of the touch panel easy to clean?

Yes, due to the construction without beads and edges the touch panels are particularly easy to clean. The fulfillment of the protection class IP65 at least on the front side prevents the penetration of liquids.
